Hi, I’m Phil, a fully qualified driving instructor and owner of Ministry of Driving, providing manual driving lessons in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas.

My teaching style is calm, patient and relaxed, with a strong focus on coaching rather than simply telling you what to do. I believe people learn best when they understand why they’re doing something, not just how to do it.

Lessons are tailored to you and your individual learning style, whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to driving after a break or looking to build your confidence. There’s no pressure to learn at somebody else’s pace — the aim is to help you become a safe, confident and competent driver for life, not simply to pass a driving test.

I teach in a modern manual Ford Fiesta ST-Line and offer 90-minute lessons throughout Eastbourne and the surrounding area.
